Sales Manager Poland

For our Client, a European engineering company, which focuses on development, planning, design and manufacturing of cooling towers for power engineering industry, also including turnkey commissioning, we are searching for a:

Sales Manager Poland

Place of work: Katowice (office);  frequent business trips to headquarters in Germany.

Responsibilities:

- Elaborating and realizing the sales strategy for Poland and Central and Eastern Europe (CEE);

-Coordinating the planning/budget processes in accordance with the Sales Director and General Management of the company/group;

- Responsibility for the external effect of the company on the market, on customers and, if applicable, on sourcing and other co-operating partners;

- Evaluating and leading the bidding procedure;

- Preparing quotations;

- Negotiating with customers and joint partners;

- Identifying new opportunities (markets, project, customers);

- Initiating and monitoring sales contracts;

- Monitoring and follow-up on customer complaints;

- Market intelligence (market sizes, customer needs, trends, competition).

Job requirements:

- Degree in one of the following areas is a must: chemical engineering, construction engineering, environmental engineering, machine building engineering;

- Experience in power engineering industry (5-15 years of professional experience);

- Fluent knowledge of English, German (preferably), any other CEE language is an advantage;

- Ability to travel frequently (altogether few months in a year);

- Proactive person (able to make independent decisions);

- Strong communication, organization, leadership, presentation and negotiating skills.
